Disposable project

Exhibition at the French Institute of Kenitra.
"Disposable" is a concept of delegated documentary,
dedicated to portraying society through the eyes of those who live it.
Initiated in Meknès in 2015 by French artist Alexandre Eudier, the project relies exclusively on the use of disposable cameras. By entrusting these cameras to people from all walks of life, the photographer radically shifts the rules of the game. He suspends his position as author to immerse us in the intimacy of his subjects, who become co-producers of an unprecedented visual narrative.
Against the grain of the technological escalation brought by the digital era, this approach places everyone on equal footing and returns to the essentials. Somewhere between sociological and psychological inquiry, through a sensitive, simple and coherent device, Usage Unique brings visibility to the multiple subjectivities that animate society.
